Factory Acceptance Testing

  • GTR has a pool of Factory Test Engineers
  • Experienced in various protection relay testing, and 61850 protocol
  • Engineers available nationwide
  • GTR has factory facilities to carry out the design, build and final client acceptance testing (FAT)

Circuit breaker testing

  • We provide experienced Commissioning teams to carry out circuit breaker replacements, as well as associated bay refurbishments
  • Carry out online non intrusive Partial discharge monitoring
  • Latest Omicron Circuit Breaker Analysis equipment for Speed curves and Timing tests

Settings Calculations

  • We offer a complete settings calculations service with full consultation, P&C design audits, comprehensive checks on settings and commissioning strategies including Emergency Return to Service
  • We also have TP141 authorised settings engineers.

SF6 Gassing

  • We currently have experienced SF6 Gas Technicians available with fully equipped van to complete all required gassing works
  • Van contains Analyser, Dilo Regulator, all accessories, SF6 DN20/DN8 Vac & Refill Pipes etc, Vacuum Pump, small Service Cart for minor extractions (itemised on request)
  • Available nationwide, at short notice
  • Dilo Gas carts available for Hire with or without engineering support

Solar Farms / Wind Farms

  • GTR has commissioned numerous solar farms throughout the UK over recent years
  • We offer a full design service, grading studies, installation works by our Fitters and Panel Wiremen, followed by Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing/Commissioning and G59 commissioning with DNO witness present
  • We have good relationships with many of the DNOs

Generator Systems
